Club Deportivo Laredo is a Spanish football team based in Laredo, in the autonomous community of Cantabria. Founded in 1927, it plays in Tercera Federación – Group 3, holding home matches at Campo de Fútbol San Lorenzo, which has a capacity of 2,500.

History

CD Laredo was founded in 1927 with the name of Sociedad Deportiva Charlestón. In 1932 the club won the Regional Final against Madrid of Santander (Racing reserve team) 4:1. That was a huge success in the beginning of its history. After the Spanish Civil War, due to a temporary law forbidding the use of foreign words in football club names, the team's official denomination changed to the current Club Deportivo Laredo.

In 1987, the club promoted for the first time to Segunda División B. Despite being immediately relegated, the club returned to the third tear just one year later, but it finished again in the relegation positions.

Since 1990, Laredo played uninterruptedly in Tercera División. In the 2018-19 season the club won silver medals by finishing just 6 points behind the champion UM Escobedo.

Le Real Racing Club de Santander, surnommé les Racinguistas ou les Verdiblancos, est un club de football espagnol basé à Santander, en Cantabrie. Fondé en 1907, il évolue en Primera Division RFEF, le troisième échelon du football espagnol.

Le club a remporté un titre de champion d'Espagne en 1941 et a atteint la finale de la Coupe d'Espagne à quatre reprises (1939, 1950, 1952 et 1988). Il a également participé à plusieurs compétitions européennes, notamment la Coupe UEFA et la Coupe des vainqueurs de coupe.

Le Real Racing Club de Santander est connu pour son intense rivalité avec le Real Sporting de Gijón, un autre club de la région de Cantabrie. Les matchs entre les deux équipes sont surnommés les "Derbis Cantabriques".

Le club joue ses matchs à domicile au stade El Sardinero, qui a une capacité d'environ 20 000 spectateurs. Le stade a accueilli plusieurs matchs internationaux, notamment lors de la Coupe du monde de football de 1982.

Parmi les joueurs les plus célèbres à avoir porté le maillot du Real Racing Club de Santander figurent Paco Gento, Juan José Nardi, Piquero, Pedro Munitis et Sergio Canales.
