Anduud City FC (Mongolian: Андууд Сити) is a professional football club based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, that competes in the Mongolian National Premier League.
History
The club was established in July 2013. In 2016 the club finished in fourth place in the National Amateur Cup and won the right to compete in the Mongolian 1st League. The team won the league championship that season and qualified for the Mongolian Premier League for the 2017 season.
The club was named Goyo FC until the 2018 season. At that time the team was renamed Anduud City Club as part of a major sponsorship commitment to modernize and professionalize the club. They won their first match under their new name in May 2018 against Khangarid FC with the only goal scored by Batbayar Khash-Erdene.
Le Goyo FC a rapidement gravi les échelons du football mongol, remportant le championnat de deuxième division en 2016 et accédant à la Lig 1 pour la saison 2017. Depuis lors, le club est devenu l'un des plus compétitifs de Mongolie, terminant régulièrement dans le top cinq du classement.
Le stade du Goyo FC est le MFF Football Centre, d'une capacité de 5 000 places. Le club est connu pour son style de jeu offensif et son atmosphère animée au stade.
Parmi les joueurs les plus notables du Goyo FC figurent le milieu de terrain international mongol Batmönkhiin Erjan et l'attaquant international mongol Erdenebatyn Tögöldör. Le club est entraîné par le manager mongol Tsedenbalyn Tserenjigmid.
Le Goyo FC a également connu le succès en compétition continentale, atteignant les huitièmes de finale de la Coupe de l'AFC 2019. Le club espère continuer à progresser sur la scène continentale et à se faire un nom dans le football asiatique.
