Royal Thai Army Football Club (Thai: สโมสรฟุตบอลทหารบก) is a Thailand football club under the stewardship of Royal Thai Army based in Bangkok. The team plays their home matches at Thai Army Sports Stadium. The club is currently playing in the Thai League 3 Bangkok metropolitan region.
Prior to 2015 the club was called "Army Welfare Department F.C.". After it was promoted from winner Khǒr Royal Cup to Regional League Division 2, the club changed its name to Royal Thai Army F.C..
History
In 2022, Royal Thai Army competed in the Thai League 3 for the 2022–23 season. It is their 8th season in the professional league. The club started the season with a 0–1 home defeat to Royal Thai Air Force and they ended the season with a 1–3 away defeat to Royal Thai Air Force. The club has finished 9th place in the league of the Bangkok metropolitan region.
Le Royal Thai Army FC a remporté deux fois le championnat de Thaïlande, en 1990 et 1993. Il a également remporté la Coupe de Thaïlande à trois reprises, en 1992, 1993 et 1995.
Le club est propriété de l'armée thaïlandaise et ses joueurs sont des soldats de l'armée. Le club a une forte tradition militaire et ses matchs à domicile se jouent souvent au stade de l'armée thaïlandaise.
Le Royal Thai Army FC est l'un des clubs les plus titrés de Thaïlande et possède une grande base de supporters. Le club est également connu pour sa formation de jeunes et a produit de nombreux joueurs talentueux qui ont joué pour l'équipe nationale thaïlandaise.
