Le FC Hansa Rostock est un club de football allemand basé à Rostock, dans le nord du pays. Fondé en 1965, il évolue en 2. Bundesliga, la deuxième division allemande.

Le club a connu ses heures de gloire dans les années 1990, lorsqu'il s'est qualifié à plusieurs reprises pour la Coupe d'Europe, atteignant même les quarts de finale de la Coupe des vainqueurs de coupe en 1996. Il a également remporté la Coupe d'Allemagne en 1991.

Cependant, le club a connu des difficultés financières et sportives dans les années 2000, et a été relégué en 3. Liga en 2010. Il a retrouvé la 2. Bundesliga en 2017 et s'y maintient depuis.

Le stade du FC Hansa Rostock est l'Ostseestadion, qui peut accueillir plus de 25 000 spectateurs. Le club compte une importante base de supporters, connue pour son atmosphère passionnée dans les tribunes.
