Le Sanfrecce Hiroshima (サンフレッチェ広島) est un club japonais de football basé à Hiroshima, dans la Préfecture du même nom. Le club évolue en J.League 1 pour la saison 2022.

Le nom de l'équipe vient d'un mot Sanfrecce rassemblant les termes San (signifiant trois en japonais) et un mot italien frecce (se traduisant par flèche). Trois flèches qui se croisent apparaissent justement sur le blason du club. Ce nom fait référence à une légende du XVIe siècle liée au seigneur et chef de clan de la région, Mōri Motonari.

Le club joue soit à l'Hiroshima Big Arch, soit à l'Hiroshima Perfectural Stadium. L'équipe s'entraine au Yoshida Soccer Park à Akitakata, au nord d'Hiroshima et à l'Hiroshima 1st Ball Park.

Le Sanfrecce Hiroshima est un club de football japonais basé à Hiroshima. Il évolue en J1 League, la première division japonaise.

Le club a été fondé en 1938 sous le nom de Toyo Kogyo Soccer Club, par le constructeur automobile Toyo Kogyo (aujourd'hui Mazda). Il a pris son nom actuel en 1992, lorsque le club a été privatisé et est devenu une société anonyme.

Le Sanfrecce Hiroshima a remporté trois fois le championnat du Japon (1965, 1970 et 1994), cinq fois la Coupe de l'Empereur (1965, 1967, 1969, 1978 et 1994) et deux fois la Coupe de la Ligue japonaise (1994 et 2007).

Le club a également participé à plusieurs reprises à la Ligue des champions de l'AFC, atteignant les demi-finales en 2012 et en 2015.

Le Sanfrecce Hiroshima joue ses matchs à domicile au Hiroshima Big Arch Stadium, qui a été construit pour la Coupe du monde de football de 1994.
